Spiders Weather the Tide in 5-2 Victory at Home
With fans lounging either outside on the grass or indoors in the Greyhound Park facility, the Spiders put on a show to remember for the visiting Tacoma Tide. Dustin Pilcher #0, long time Spokane Shadow veteran and Spider keeper, led the Spiders to their first victory of the 2008 Season with 6 saves for the game.
Last year's second place Northwest Division finishers flew in from Tacoma that Friday, May 9, 2008, and came loaded for bear. The Spiders, however, were waiting. Still smarting from their 3-0 loss to Yakima the past week, the Spiders were determined to show the Premier Development League that they are still to be one of the Northwest Division's top competitors. more>>
